DMCA Policy
Last Updated: October 29, 2026
HotStory.Online respects intellectual property rights and expects users and contributors to do the same. We review credible copyright complaints concerning material published on https://www.hotstory.online/.
This page describes how to submit a copyright complaint and, where applicable, a counter-notification under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy does not replace applicable copyright law in other jurisdictions.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe that material on HotStory.Online infringes your copyright, please email your complaint to:
Email: hotstory.online@proton.me
Include the following information, where applicable:
Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
The exact URL or URLs of the material you believe is infringing.
Your name and contact information, including an email address.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, where required by the DMCA, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf, under penalty of perjury.
Your physical or electronic signature.
Please provide enough detail for us to identify and review the material.
2. Review and Removal
After receiving a sufficiently detailed complaint, we may review the reported material and take appropriate action where warranted, which may include removing or disabling access to the material.
Submitting a complaint does not guarantee removal. We may request additional information when necessary.
3. Counter-Notification
If material you posted was removed or access was disabled because of a copyright complaint, and you believe the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification, you may contact us at hotstory.online@proton.me to explain your position.
Where the DMCA applies, a legally sufficient counter-notification may need to include your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, and the other statements and contact details required by law.
A counter-notification may have legal consequences. Consider obtaining legal advice before submitting one.
4. Repeat Infringement
Where appropriate and legally required, we may take reasonable steps against repeat infringers, which may include restricting access to content or other measures.
5. Good-Faith Complaints
Please submit accurate and good-faith complaints. Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a copyright notice or counter-notification may have legal consequences.
6. Third-Party Hosting
HotStory.Online may use third-party services, including Blogger, to publish or host content. Depending on the nature of a complaint, you may also need to submit a report to the relevant hosting provider through its official copyright reporting process.
